The show begins at 7pm and is free to the public thanks to Centennial Plaza and the Downtown Canton Partnership. This will be a family-friendly comedy show, though not specifically themed for children.
Brian Bates is a Nashville based comedian who tours the country performing at comedy clubs, theaters, corporate events, and churches. You may have seen his Dry Bar Comedy specials or heard him as a guest on The Grand Ole Opry. He can also be heard regularly on LaughUSA on SiriusXM radio. From 2020-2026, Brian was also one of the hosts of the Nateland Podcast with Nate Bargatze and now joins fellow comedians Aaron Weber and Dusty Slay as one of the hosts of the Public Figures Podcast, heard by thousands of listeners each week.

Join Canton Comedy Boom on Saturday, October 3rd for a night of hilarious stand-up comedy with headliner Joe Hill, and feature comedian, Leyla Ingalls!
Bronx native Joe Hill is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor currently generating a buzz on the national comedy scene. Joe has played at various comedy clubs on his headliner tour titled “You Take Care”. Having already played in 40+ states, Joe’s comedic style is reminiscent of Sinbad. His inspiration comes from Iconic legends like Red Foxx, Robert Townsend, and Martin Lawrence.
Joe has worked with DL Hughley, Mike Epps, Tony Roberts, DC Young Fly, Ali Siddiq, Bill Burr, JJ Williamson, Alyca Cooper, Craig Robinson, & Roy Wood Jr. He’s been seen and featured on Fox, Comedy Central, Netflix, CW11, Vice, Revolt TV, Sirius XM Radio, and iHeart Radio. In September 2025, Joe released his second stand-up special “You Take Care,” currently streaming on Youtube, surpassing 100K views.
Leyla Ingalls is a comedian and writer known for her deceivingly innocent demeanor paired with clever joke writing and absurdist stances. She performs in comedy clubs across the country and has headlined notable venues such as The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, California. She is a crowd favorite at the widely known “Don’t Tell Comedy” showcases and has also opened for Kevin Nealon, Joe Gatto, Geoffrey Asmus, and Sam Tallent.
She received the title “rookie of the year” for stand-up her first year in the game by Columbus Underground, and after performing on the hit podcast Kill Tony, Leyla has amassed a following on her socials leading to millions of views.
The show will be hosted by Cleveland comedian, Pope, who won Best Host at the 2026 Cleveland Comedy Awards!

Oops! All Weirdos: A Comedy Fundraiser
Join us on Saturday, October 10th for Oops, All Weirdos! – our annual comedy fundraiser dedicated to the memory of our dear friend and fellow performer, Andrew Burge.
Andrew was one of the wildest, weirdest, and most wonderful comedians. Audiences never knew what to expect when he took the stage. Sometimes he’d sing goofy songs, sometimes he’d tell hopefully-made-up stories about eating glue, sometimes he would just read from Thus Spoke Zarathustra. His imagination was endless, his heart was huge, and his laughter is sorely missed by all of us who knew and loved him.
Oops, All Weirdos! is a comedy showcase featuring some of the smartest, zaniest, most off-the-wall comedians we know. In Andrew’s honor, we present the comedic stylings of five wacky weirdos: Angelo Maneage, Matt Thompson, Gabe LaVictoire, Zak Collins, and GW Nell.
Proceeds from the show will benefit the Burge family’s charity of choice, Comedy Gives Back, a non-profit organization that provides grants to stand-up comedians for financial crises, health insurance, mental health therapy, and chemical dependency treatment.
We hope you’ll join us as we remember our friend and raise money for a cause that is close to our hearts.

Brad Sativa is a Nashville-based, nationally touring comedian and actor. He recently released his debut album, “Petty” on all major streaming services, had four stand-up sets released for Don’t Tell Comedy, performed for Nateland Live and Stand Up Nashville on CircleTV, and on Kevin Hart's LOL Network.
Brad has been a featured performer on Bonnaroo Music Festival (2019), Nashville Comedy Festival (2018-2023), 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival (2019 & 2022), West End Comedy Festival (Headliner - 2023), Gilda Laugh Fest (Clean Comedy Showcases - 2023), Limestone Festival (2023). He has opened for Natasha Leggero, Joey Diaz, Karlous Miller, Josh Blue, Chad Daniels, Ian Bagg, Chris Kattan, and Michael Rapaport.
Chevy Terrill is a stand-up comedian who proves that a mild case of cerebral palsy is no obstacle to living life with humor. Known for his sharp wit and hilarious storytelling, Chevy turns his everyday experiences into comedy that audiences of all backgrounds can relate to. His unique perspective and ability to laugh at life's challenges have made him a favorite wherever he performs.

Adam Minnick at Canton Comedy Boom
Join us on Saturday, November 7th for a night of hilarious stand-up comedy with headliner Adam Minnick!
Adam Minnick is a comedian, writer, and producer. He has worked at comedy clubs across the US, such as Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club located inside the MGM Casino in Las Vegas, Dry Bar Comedy Club, Improv Comedy Club, Funny Bone Comedy Club, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, and the Punch Line Philly in Philadelphia as well as abroad in Ireland, Australia and Sweden. He has also been featured on Nate Bargatze’s “Nateland” showcase at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville and performed on Holland America’s “Zaandam” Cruise Ship.
Adam combines his act of observational humor with stories of teaching, appearances, sports, family, his son and his wife to deliver a clean and intelligent act that entertains and engages audiences of all ages. Adam’s unique view on life is due in no small part to having spent much of his youth in the small town of Napoleon, Ohio and Perth, Australia and traveling everywhere in-between.
Adam has been heard on 700 WLW, Talk Is Cheap with Rhonda Corey and featured in the nationally distributed magazine Eclectic Magazine and the book 200 Comedy Writers and Standups Walk Into a Bar. His Dry Bar Comedy special “Low Pay and Disrespect” was released in the spring of 2022, three months following its release, it was ranked #2 among the top ten most-watched Dry Bar Comedy specials.

Marcus Monroe at Canton Comedy Boom
Join us on Saturday, December 19th for a night of hilarious stand-up comedy with headliner Marcus Monroe!
Marcus Monroe is a New York City based comedian. His show is a high energy blend of in-your-face comedic banter riddled with awkwardness. He is the recipient of the prestigious Andy Kaufman Award and has recently appeared on The Late Show, Late Night with Seth Myers, and ITV (London). Chances are you’ve seen him in one of his many viral videos performing stand up on the NYC subway as different characters.
Marcus’s Stand-Up on the Subway series has over 100 million views and includes cameos from Bowling for Soup, Train, Bobby Moynihan, BBMak, Ryan Cabera and more. The New York Times has selected Marcus’s show as a NYT Critics’ Pick four times, and calls Marcus, “one of the most entertaining performers to watch in New York City.”
Marcus is a regular at the world-famous Comedy Cellar in New York and tours regularly. His one man show, “The Rise and Fall of Marcus Monroe” debuted to rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival earning the Evening Standard’s ‘Pick of the Fringe.’ Currently, Marcus is the co-host of the Boy Friends Podcast along with comedians Corey B and Matt Lopes and he is on tour playing comedy clubs and theaters.

Kids Doing Comedy

This talented group of kids, aged 4-12, will take the stage to deliver stand-up, funny stories, and sketch comedy!
This is the ninth time CCB has hosted Kids Doing Comedy, and the kids have been hard at work writing new material and rehearsing new sketches in our workshops. They’re so excited to take the stage again.
Thanks to a generous grant from ArtsinStark, we are able to offer workshops, performance showcases, and a Kids Doing Comedy Tour at local senior living facilities to continue for the next year. We couldn't be more grateful, because it will allow us to expand the program beyond what we could do alone. We are so excited to invite experienced theater, improv, and stand-up instructors to share their expertise with the next generation of comedy stars!
Our workshops are offered at no cost to parents thanks to ArtsinStark. There’s no pressure to perform, kids are welcome to attend the workshops without committing to performing on the day of the show. If you have a theater kid who loves to make a room laugh, this is a unique opportunity for them to experiment with both theater and comedy in a safe and supportive environment.

Andrew Cassidy at Canton Comedy Boom

Andrew Cassidy is an LA-based stand-up comedian and medical doctor whose viral comedy videos have generated millions of views online and earned him a feature on The Today Show.
Known for his sharp perspective and silly sense of humor, Andrew is the creator of Take Off Comedy and Rabbit Hole Comedy, two popular shows in Los Angeles. He performs regularly at clubs across the U.S. and Canada, including The Grand Comedy Club, Spokane Comedy Club, Tacoma Comedy Club, Flappers Comedy Club, and Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Clubs.
Andrew has opened for Ian Bagg, Zach Martina, Mike Cronin, Chinedu Unaka, Andy Hendrickson, Chris Franjola, and has been featured at comedy festivals including North Carolina Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, Funlap Comedy Festival, and Loons on the Lake.
Brandon Petri blends whimsicality and pathos with dark humor to create a regrettably relatable standup presentation. Brandon has been seen at the Cleveland Comedy Festival, Rubber City Comedy Festival, and the Flagship Comedy Festival. He is a regular of Funny Farm Comedy Club, and a three time Roast Battle Cleveland champion. Audiences can look forward to a witty, yet socially awkward experience, and the knowledge they have helped to feed a starving man child with their attendance.
Jo Rou is an actor, filmmaker, and comedian focusing on the offbeat and subversive. She has written and starred in videos that have been featured on CollegeHumor, Funny or Die, Huffpost, Glamour, E! Online and is a former performer at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. She has also worked for The Onion, Saturday Night Live, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Get ready for a night of non-stop laughter as these quick-witted performers create hilarious scenes on the spot, fueled by your suggestions. The show will feature The Colleagues, an improv troupe with members from Canton and Cleveland. And there is always a chance that a special guest or two will join!
This show will be an interactive comedy experience featuring performers who will spontaneously create scenes based on audience feedback.

Von Mychael at Canton Comedy Boom
Join us on Saturday, August 22nd for a night of hilarious stand-up comedy with headliner Von Mychael!
The show also features Akron comic Matthew J. Farkas, and Canton’s own Eric Talbert will be your host for the evening.
Von Mychael is an up-and-coming comedian who hails from Chester, VA. His work ethic and determination to become a celebrated name in comedy have landed him at the Apollo, where he won 2nd place. Von is a six-time winner of the Funnybone Clash of Comics, and he’s opened for heavyweights in comedy such as Jamie Kennedy and John Witherspoon.
Matthew James Farkas is an Academy-nominated, Akron-based comedian. He's performed in multiple states, showcasing a blue collar degenerative perspective with light witty twists to dark satire. He has been instrumental in the creation of the Rubber City Comedy Festival, and is a writer and co-host for our popular News Room sketch.

This month the stars align for laughter with comedians born under the signs of Cancer and Leo with comedians bringing the quirks, chaos, and cosmic clichés of those particular signs to the stage.
This month we welcome Cancer "the nurturer" and Leo “the creator” of the zodiac signs. Cancer is a Water sign and operates entirely through intuition and emotion and is represented by the Crab symbol. Leo is a Fire sign and represented by the Lion (roar) and leads with shining pride and passion!

Winston Hodges is from DC by way of Richmond, VA. He’s toured all over the east coast showcasing his southern charm and edgy wit. He has been featured on Don't Tell Comedy's Secret Sets, and was a Top 6 finalist on Kevin Hart's "Funny AF" for Netflix - starting with thousands of applicants and 44 original competitors. His videos have been viewed over a combined 30 million times online.
Kill Tony “Golden Ticket” winner, Martin Malloy will be featuring for Winston. Martin is a Cleveland native, and a twenty year veteran of stand-up. He’s a comedy legend in Northeast Ohio who is rapidly gaining national recognition.

Pop-Up Comedy Night at Mike's Pizza
Join us on Thursday, July 23rd for a pop-up comedy show at Mike’s Pizza!
Ask anyone who frequents downtown Canton and they’ll tell you Mike’s has quickly become a must try in downtown Canton. Known for their New York inspired pies, Mike’s is part of the Fourth Street Collective, which has created a bustling hub for great food from both Mike’s and Deli Ohio, served alongside some amazing craft beers from Woodshop Brewery.
Grab some great food and drinks while kicking back and enjoying a stand-up comedy showcase on the patio! We’re bringing some great comedians to Canton for this one. The line-up features Patrick Madison, Brett Thomas, Kee Silly, and Ty Moore.
Patrick Madison recently took his comedy nationwide with his Double Chuckle Comedy Tour, bringing his unique brand of humor to over 200 cities across the United States. His dedication to the craft and relentless touring schedule earned him a feature in a best-selling book about road comics, and multiple Cleveland Comedy Award nominations. Pat recently recorded his first comedy special with Canton Comedy Boom and we can’t wait for you to enjoy his goofy yet charming brand of comedy.
Brett Thomas has performed at clubs all over Ohio and beyond, including Secret Society, Go Bananas Comedy Club, Don’t Tell Comedy, Impostors, and Snowflake Comedy Club. Brett likes to take things slow on stage, but his jokes are quick witted, delivered deliberately and dryly. From philosophical debates with our partners to employee benefits on the graveyard shift, Brett’s comedy weaves in and out of the normal and the absurd.
From her first comedy set at the Funny Stop Comedy Club in Cuyahoga Falls in 2020, Kee Silly has charmed audiences all over the region, including performances at Cleveland’s Funny Bone, Cleveland Improv, and Hilarities Comedy Club. But don’t let her charm disarm you, Kee is a killer on the stage and we are thrilled to host her here in Canton!
Ty Moore is our special guest comic from Columbus. We saw him open for Janet McNamara at Hashtag Comedy Club and instantly knew we wanted to bring his hilarious and explosive brand of comedy to Canton.
This is going to be a fun evening in a unique and cozy setting with some of Ohio’s best comics in one of Canton’s best eateries! Bring your friends and family, order a pie, and let these hilarious human beings bring a little joy to your evening!
