Our Kids Doing Comedy program is something we are extremely proud of here at Canton Comedy Boom. This talented group of kids, aged 4-12, practice with our instructors before taking the stage to perform stand-up, sketch, and improv comedy. With a lifetime of combined experience, the instructors teach stage presence, blocking, comedic timing, joke writing, story telling, improv games, and more. It has been such a pleasure to support the next generation of comedians!

Thanks to a generous grant from ArtsinStark, we are able to offer the workshops, performance showcases, and a Kids Doing Comedy Tour at local senior living facilities to continue for the next year.

Our workshops are offered at no cost to parents. There’s no pressure to perform, kids are welcome to attend the workshops without committing to performing on the day of the show. If you have a theater kid who loves to make a room laugh, this is a unique opportunity for them to experiment with both theater and comedy in a safe and supportive environment.
