Every Tuesday, join Canton Comedy Boom’s K.C. Curry hosting an eclectic array of local and visiting comedians in the cozy vibes of downtown Akron’s trendy The Daily Pressed. It has become a favorite among seasoned comics from both near and far. And thanks to a 20% service industry discount, this open mic is also a favorite for bar and restaurant workers.
Canton Comedy Boom hosts this open mic every Tuesday night. We welcome new and developing comics to try out their material in a peer-supported environment. Some of Ohio’s best comics have used this mic to work on jokes, providing a rare opportunity for the public to experience the talent of up-and-coming comics in this cozy, laid back cafe.
