Canton Comedy Boom and Centennial Plaza are teaming up to bring you Kids Doing Comedy at the Plaza on Thursday, June 11th! 

Our Kids Doing Comedy program has been growing rapidly this year, and we are so excited to take this next big step and put these talented, pint-sized performers on the big stage!

The show is free-of-charge and 100% family-friendly. This is a great opportunity to enjoy an evening downtown with your loved ones while supporting local business and young talent.

Canton Comedy Boom’s Kids Doing Comedy Program is made possible thanks to a generous grant from ArtsinStark. All of our young performers go through workshops with experienced theater, improv, and stand-up instructors. They’ve been working hard on their jokes and the kids are looking forward to making you laugh!

This talented group of kids, aged 4-12, will take the Centennial Plaza stage at 7pm to deliver stand-up, funny stories, and sketch comedy! We are also excited to announce that Canton’s own local luminary, Lucas Tindell will be hosting the show. 

After our Kids Doing Comedy shows, we always open the stage up in an open mic fashion, where any kid aged 4-12 can come up and tell a joke or two (even if it's just a knock knock joke or read from a joke book.) Our goal has always been to help these kids build confidence and to experience the joy and pride that comes with making an audience laugh.
